"No student left behind" policy. What is it?
No student leaves our hands feeling scared, confused, and unready to enter the lash community. After completing our course, and you need more hands-on support, you are welcome to come back for additional help, one on one, with me for no additional charge.
Are lash extensions painful or uncomfortable?
Absolutely not. If you are experience pain or discomfort during or after your appointment, reach out to us ASAP.
Will volume lashes be too heavy?
Our handmade fans are customized to suit your natural lashes. We always create fans with a thinner diameter resulting in the same weight or even lighter, than a classic individual lash.
My natural lashes are shedding with the extension. Is that normal?
Yes, just like the hair on our own head, our hair sheds naturally and new hair grows. We shed between 3-5 lashes per day
How long will they last?
Lashes will gradually look less filled until your required 2-3 week fill appointment because we naturally shed between 3-5 lashes per day. Within the 4-6 week you will find your lashes at grown out or have completely shed.
Do you charge a removal during a fill appointment?
During your fill, we remove your outgrown lashes and replace them with new lashes. We remove by peeling the extension of your lash. No lashes are pulled out during this process. We do not charge a removal unless you come in and require a full removal with our removal cream.
Do extensions damage my natural lash?
Absolutely not! We choose a length and diameter that is suitable for your natural lashes, isolated 100%, and are very careful with our adhesive. We have put in thousands of hours of practice to get our craft to where it is today. This does not mean clients have not received damaging lash extensions from other lash artists before.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Come with clean lashes, no makeup/cream on or around the eye, use the washroom beforehand, if you wear strip lashes make sure there no leftover glue in the lashes, and lastly, get ready for the best nap of your life!
What is the aftercare procedure like?
Do: wash your lashes with a lash cleanser, use oil-free products, brush them daily,
Avoid; using a steam room within the first 24 hours, mascara, make-up, eye-lash curler, strip lashes, rubbing, touching, or pulling, close contact with hot objects like cigarettes, pan, and oven, sleeping on your face
Am I required to take a break from extensions?
No, you can continue your fills for as long as you would like! Your natural lashes will continue with its cycle whether you get lashes or not, so there's no such thing as taking a break and "letting your lashes grow"
Can I get lashes if I'm pregnant?
We love helping future mothers feel beautiful during their childbearing stage. If you require a break and need to sit up after a certain time, we would be happy to accommodate you by doing one eye at a time. Please let us know you are pregnant and may need to be accommodated. If you feel unsure about getting your lashes done, ask your doctor.
Who are lashes not suited for?
If you know you are allergic to lash glue, you are most likely allergic to cyanoacrylate, which appears in almost all working adhesives, it is recommended you do not get your lashes done.
Those with trichotillomania, a condition where one compulsively pulls out hair
Those who aren't able to achieve their desired look due to the current state of their lashes
Have a difficult time following aftercare instructions and not properly cleaning their lashes on a daily bases
Those who can't control eye rubbing
